Each of our designers has a unique style to ensure that we offer everything from the simplest slip dress to the grandest gown. If you see a dress by one of our designers which we do not stock at Bridal Path, we will happily request the sample for you to try on by appointment, at no cost.*

Jenny Packham

Probably the best known of our designers, Jenny’s award-winning designs prove very popular with brides wanting something a little different for their big day. Jenny’s designs have a vintage feel to them, evoking the glamour of the 1920’s and 1930’s. Predominantly working in silks embellished with crystals and beads, her gowns will make any bride feel very special. Prices start at £1250 inclusive of 2 fittings and alterations.

Stewart Parvin

The designer of choice for those ‘in the know’, Stewart designs classic, elegant gowns with a timeless appeal, with a firm belief in ‘less is more’. In 2007 he was awarded the Royal Warrant of Appointment to HM The Queen, having designed outfits for her Golden Jubilee and being credited with giving her a fresher, more modern look. Stewart holds annual Designer Days at Bridal Path where he consults with the bride on the dress, accessories and styling in a one-to-one appointment to create the perfect look. All Stewart’s gowns are fully made-to-measure with a calico bodice ‘toile’ fitted before the dress is made here in the UK. Prices start at £1850.

Amanda Wakeley

Probably better known for her stunning evening wear, Amanda’s strength is in the cut and simplicity of her gowns, using luxurious natural fabrics. Her attention to stitching detail and the cut of her fabrics makes for a sophisticated silhouette which would work beautifully in either a church or civil setting. Amanda’s dresses are mainly made in the UK to order and prices start at £1750 inclusive of 2 fittings and alterations.

Sharon Bowen

Having trained in Paris and designed for the fashion houses of Chloe and Dior, Sharon’s designs are never run-of-the-mill, with a sense of adventure and the theatrical. Dresses are made at her Cheshire atelier and can be hand-painted with floral motifs, lace can be coloured to the bride’s requirements and details and trimmings can be added or removed to create a totally unique outfit, as simple or striking as the bride wishes. Prices start at £1950 inclusive of 2 fittings and alterations.

Anita Massarella

Formerly a lecturer in fashion design before founding her label in 1990, award-winning Anita’s trademark is refined, understated elegance using the finest silks, satins and lace. Each dress can be refined to the bride’s requirements in cut, fabric or detail and is made at Anita’s Yorkshire atelier, where she has created clothing for many celebrities and even Prime Ministers. Prices start at £2500 inclusive of 2 fittings and alterations.

Grace Bardin

Greek-born Grace has over 30 years’ experience in haute couture and design and has worked around the world, including the USA and South Africa. We are fortunate to have her talent right here on our doorstep in Sawbridgeworth where her atelier is based. Grace creates made-to-measure designs encompassing a range of styles, but can also offer a full couture service to create the perfect dress when a bride cannot find ‘The One’. Grace also offers a made-to-measure bridesmaids’ dress service in a massive range of colours, along with outfits for mother of the bride, cravats, waistcoats, ties and handkerchiefs so that everything can be coordinated. In addition Grace conducts fittings and alterations for all our other designers so the bride can rest assured that her dress is in the best hands. Prices for Grace’s made-to-measure main line dresses start at £1250, but she has also introduced a range of made-to-measure dresses from just £375 – ideal for the more budget-conscious bride but with the same high standards of quality, service and attention.
