Bridal Path By Car
It is highly advisable to park in the Bell Street car park, which is completely free on Saturdays and has an hour's free parking (with reasonable charges thereafter) during the week. This is accessed by the first right turn in Bell Street and well signposted. Occasionally there are Farmers' Markets held in this car park on Saturdays, but there are still plenty of spaces. Walking from the car park, turn right and go down Bell Street in the direction of the traffic. Bridal Path is situated just past Lloyds Bank and opposite the Cafe of the Angels. The walk will take approximately 1-2 minutes from the car park and we look forward to meeting you soon.
Bridal Path By Train
We are only a 10-minute walk from Sawbridgeworth railway station (on the Liverpool Street-Stansted Express/Cambridge line):
On exiting the train, turn right and cross the river bridge. After approximately 30 yards cross the road to follow The Forebury up the hilll and continue up for about 200 yards, until an open grassy area is on your left. Pass through the concrete bollards and continue straight as before - the village hall and library will be on your right, the primary school on your left. When you reach the T-junction turn left and cross over whenever possible so that you are on the Barclays' side of the road. Continue along until you reach the crossroads - Goose Fat & Garlic restaurant will be opposite. Turn right and walk up Bell Street for approximately 50 yards and you will see us, just opposite the Cafe of the Angels. (Please note that these directions are for pedestrians only and are not accessible by car.)
Bridal Path By Air
We are approximately 5 miles from Stansted Airport and taxis are always readily available there, with a fare of about £20 each way.
