Bridal Path has been set up in the pretty and historic village of Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire with wedding gowns from some of Britain’s finest designers. We stock Jenny Packham, Stewart Parvin, Amanda Wakeley, Sharon Bowen and Grace Bardin – all highly respected designers who have created clothing for celebrities, dignitaries and royalty between them.

More than ever, the brides who visit us are saying that the bridal shops they visit seem to offer row upon row of the ‘same’ dress. Our aim is to steer away from mass-produced, ‘identikit’ imported dresses and offer a collection with which the bride can create a totally unique look for her special day, allied to the highest standards of service and attention. We work closely with our designers and their teams so that wherever possible the bride’s requests can be accommodated, whether it be changes to the neckline, length or train, the addition or removal of trimmings such as straps or beading, or even a completely different colour dress. Even our alterations are carried out by an award-winning couturier with over 30 years’ international experience, who can also create a dress for you should you not find ‘the one’ from our selection. Our prices start at £750 (inclusive of 2 fittings and alterations) and many of our dresses are made-to-measure.

Based in a listed granary building on the main street in the heart of Sawbridgeworth, our ground floor showroom is a calm, airy, well-lit space where you are most welcome to browse our collection of gowns, embracing both traditional and modern styles. We have a first-floor, private fitting room where the bride and her party can make themselves comfortable with a drink whilst dresses are tried, without having to be ‘on display’ to other customers. We also stock an extensive selection of accessories, tiaras, veils, jewellery and Filippa Scott shoes so a complete look can be created.

Our new opening hours are 10.30 - 4.30 Tuesday – Friday and 10.00 – 4.30 Saturday, but appointments outside these hours (including weekends) are welcomed, including early mornings and late evenings for those on a tight schedule. Please call us on 01279 722273 if you wish to make an appointment.
