Bridal Path was established in 2006 in the pretty and historic village of Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire to offer wedding gowns from some of Britain’s finest and freshest designers. We stock designs by Jenny Packham, Stewart Parvin, Amanda Wakeley, new addition Sassi Holford, Tobi Hannah, Belle & Bunty and Motasem by Sabina Ali – all highly respected designers who have created clothing for celebrities, dignitaries and royalty between them.

More than ever, the brides who visit us are saying that the bridal shops they visit seem to offer row upon row of the ‘same’ dress. Our aim is to steer away from these mass-produced items and offer a collection with which the bride can create a unique look for her special day. Our alterations are carried out by a couturier with decades of experience, who can also adapt, or design and make a dress for you should you not find ‘the one’ from our selection. Our prices start at £850 and all of our gowns are made-to-order with a made-to-measure option on many of them if required.

Based in a traditional granary building on the main street at the heart of Sawbridgeworth, our ground floor showroom is a calm, airy, well-lit space where you are most welcome to browse our collection of modern and traditional wedding gowns. We have a first floor, private fitting room where the bride and her party can make themselves comfortable whilst dresses are tried on away from the view of other customers. We also stock a complementary selection of headpieces, veils, shrugs and jewellery plus Rachel Simpson, Filippa Scott and Origa shoes so a complete look can be created.
Our opening hours for April - September 2012 are:
Monday-Friday: by appointment only
Saturday: 10.00am-4.30pm (we advise that you book an appointment in advance but browsers are most welcome)
We will review our hours again at the end of September and keep you posted if there are any changes to the above. Brides wishing to browse our collection are most welcome to book an appointment without obligation and can pop in during normal hours on Saturday too. We will do our very best to accommodate appointments booked on the day of visiting but it is advisable to book at least a day in advance to avoid disappointment.
Bridal Path does not charge or take deposits from its brides for appointments.
